When push comes to shove how far would you really go for your family?
This question becomes especially poignant when relationships are not clearcut, waters muddied by years of arguments and fall-outs.
Moon 66 Questions focuses on Artemis (Sofia Kokkali) who, after years of estrangement has returned to Athens to look after her ailing father (Lazaros Georgakopoulos).
He has suffered a stroke which means he cannot walk unaided or carry out the most basic task.
Even before his health issues, her dad was a complex character and had been harsh in bringing up his daughter.
He had also split up from her mother in very complicated and acrimonious circumstances and consequently she is not interested in helping.
Meanwhile, the elephant in the room is another mysterious person who seems to have a major influence on him.
Nevertheless, Artemis sees it as her duty to be at his side as he embarks upon gruelling rehabilitation.
Moon 66 Questions will resonate with anyone who has had close interaction with an incapacitated relative.
Kokkali excels as a girl who is fighting to concentrate on the present while struggling to suppress flashbacks to the past.
But the abiding memory of Jacqueline Lentzou's film will be the devastation which a stroke or similar event can wreak.

Did you know? After having a stroke, many people experience problems with speaking and understanding, as well as reading and writing. If the parts of the brain responsible for language are damaged, this is called aphasia, or dysphasia. If there's weakness in the muscles involved in speech as a result of brain damage, this is known as dysarthria.
The final word. Jacqueline Lentzou: "Artemis’s character could not have been played by any other girl, and Artemis’s character’s complexity is intertwined with Sofia’s complexity in itself. So, we did not develop the story together, but I was developing it with her in mind, so it is a film by me with Sofia." Cineuropa
