BBFC advice: Contains moderate comic violence, threat
I am hoping that it is one of F3's jokes that Venkatesh is playing a young man when he is actually 61 years old.
If so, it probably sums up my issue with Anil Ravipudi's film - its humour simply goes over my head.
Its premise follows the importance of money in society with great respect shown for those who have it and scorn for those who don't.
F3 follows a group of opportunists who try various hare-brained schemes to make lots of cash only to fail hopelessly.
Then a brush with death prompts a super-rich industrialist (Murali Sharma) to look for his son and heir who disappeared 20 years previously.
This inspires the chancers try to persuade him that they are his missing lad.
Venkatash plays Venky a ne'er-do-well with night blindness who makes out that he is 30 even though his wrinkles give away his real age.
His equally ambitious friend,, a stutterer (Varun Tej) who is at least the right age to make his claim biologically possible.
The latter cannot be said for Tamannaah 's character who dresses up as a bloke, complete with pencil moustache, to plead her right to the industrialist's money.
Anyway, farce is piled upon farce with some colourful song and dance numbers punctuating the fun.
F3 has received much praise but I am afraid I missed many of the gags because I am not a Telugu speaker and I don't have the cultural touch points.
Thus, it seemed rather overblown to me. I can only say as I see.
Reasons to watch: Wacky comedy
Reasons to avoid: Needs native language to understand the gags
Laughs: None for me
Jumps: None
Vomit: Yes
Nudity: None
Overall rating: 5/10
Did you know? Venkatesh's father, Daggubati Ramanaidu, was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual, with more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages.
The final word. Venkatesh: "I work every movie like my first movie and put in same efforts. I never carry my stardom while doing comedy scenes. Only then, the natural flow come out. " Movie Sarkar
