Honestly, I am really running out of time before we go out for the new year so these last two are going to be the shortest reviews of the everyfilm challenge so far.
Don Sandy's comedy-drama Gorilla has to be one of the most ill-conceived pictures of the year.
It stars Jiiva as a conman who spends most evenings drinking over his woes with a couple of mates.
They shout loudly in the bar about solving their problems through robbing a bank and a fellow customer, in desperate need of cash, takes them seriously.
Oh, and the heist also involves a pet chimpanzee.
None of it makes a jot of sense until it suddenly becomes all political and there is a rallying cry for the Indian government to be more caring towards farmers.
I was utterly lost.

Reasons to watch: Its so-called quickfire comedy
Reasons to avoid: It is disjointed and not funny

Laughs: None
Jumps: One
Vomit: Yes
Nudity: None
Overall rating: 2/10

Did you know? The Samut training station in Thailand is world-renowned for training animals such as chimpanzees and gorillas for movies. The chimpanzee in this film was trained there.
